Welcome to the Capitol Care Center Transportation Center! You might have seen us around town with any of our Capitol Care Center transport buses. We are proud to be the only skilled nursing facility providing free transportation to and from your scheduled doctor visits and of course upon your admission. Capitol Care Center maintains multiple vehicles for our resident’s convenience and we make those vehicles available 7 days a week and for after hours pick-ups and drop-offs.
Our transport drivers are all Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure that any needs that your loved one may have are attended to in transit and at their destination when they meet you during their drop off. By employing CNAs as our transport drivers, we are able to ensure that any assistance that a resident may need in transfers or personal needs can be met with the same quality of care and concern that they would receive while they are inside our doors. At Capitol Care Center, we believe that providing this service free of charge to and from scheduled visits alleviates a financial burden for family members and residents that they should not have to carry. We are proud to be the only fee-free provider in Springfield. It’s another reason why we are proud to boast that the difference is the care.
