Welcome to Capitol Care Center Restorative Nursing! Our specialty is in designing programs that maintain and strengthen the progress that you have made in other therapy programs once your primary therapy is complete. Guests that are assigned to restorative nursing receive a uniquely tailored program that is specifically designed around their needs and original therapy needs. This program is available to guests who may have exhausted Medicare or private insurance benefits that cover therapy programs for their rehabilitation.
When you are assigned to restorative nursing, you will receive one-on-one instruction in your customized program. Ensuring that guests do not regress in their progress is essential to providing the best quality of life for each guest. By maintaining therapy gains, a resident can not only extend their progress but maintain their independence for longer periods of time.
The Capitol Care Center restorative nursing department is also responsible for a portion of our mobility equipment evaluations and ordering. From specially designed shoes to wheelchairs, our restorative nursing department is dedicated to ensuring that every resident has the very best equipment, programs, and capabilities at their fingertip to have the best quality of life available in a skilled nursing facility.
