Welcome to the Capitol Care Center resource page! Below, you will find a list of websites for various service providers and agencies for some of your possible needs. We understand that there are a myriad of different options in each field when looking for answers to your questions. That’s why we’ve made this list of resources to get you started in your research or your search for answers. Access Springfield – curb-to-curb service for persons with disabilities who cannot use the fixed-route SMTD buses
Alzheimer’s Association of America – The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support, and research
American Medical – A medical equipment provider that distributes home health supplies and other medical/durable equipment needs
American Red Cross – The American Red Cross provides community services that help the needy; and educational programs that promote health and safety
Central Illinois Hearing and Speech – Provides auditory services in the Springfield and Central Illinois area.
Dept of Public Aid – Find information on assistance programs such as Medicaid
Department of Justice – Contains links to the Inspector General and other valuable resources
Department of Public Health – Contains various information and resources on and for nursing home or skilled placement
DRS (Department of Rehabilitative Services) – Provides assistance to individuals under the age of 60 for homemaker services or nursing placement.

Illinois Department of Human Services – provides multiple assistance programs and a variety of resources on their webpage for various healthcare needs
Illinois Department on Aging – A state operated agency responsible for delivering various services to seniors throughout the state
Illinois Interpreter Services – Interpretation services for the hearing and visually impaired
Joyful Transport – Transport services for the elderly
Kerr Hearing – A multi-line audiologist practice dedicated to serving the hearing impaired patient.
Meals on Wheels – Meal assistance to the disabled and elderly
